Committees
   
 
Your board of directors has realized the need for various committees within the community. Owner involvement in committees is one of the key elements to a successful neighborhood. Sign-up sheets will be available at the annual meeting. Each owner is encouraged to participate by signing up for one or more committees.
   
  Architectural
 
Currently contains five members. Chair: Brad Ward, as of August, 2006. Oversight and review for all architectural change requests within the community. Also work in conjunction with board to determine standards for the community. The committee generally meets the 1st Thursday of each month. Day may vary due to schedule conflicts. What is the A.C.C. and what is the change request process? Where can I get a form?
   
  Events / Activities (Proposed)
 
Involved in social aspects of the community. Coordination of community grants, community events (i.e. yard sale), can explore creation of welcome committee.
   
  Grassroots (Proposed)
  Conduct surveys to determine overall community support of proposed initiatives. Could effect physical and/or document changes through unofficial efforts followed by submittal to board of directors.
   
  Landscape (Proposed)
  Creation of yard of the month program. Members will choose outstanding lawn each month and award homeowner. Can provide winner information for website.
   
  Safety (Proposed)
  Address vandalism, speeding, etc., as issues arise. Can explore creation of Neighborhood Watch program.
